KC College of Engineering and Information Technology, Nawanshahr

KC College of Engineering and Information Technology, (KCCEIT) is a private aided self financed engineering college established in the year 1999 under the aegis of K.C. Social Welfare Trust with the objective of imparting quality based, value based and goal oriented technical education to the students of the country. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The college is also certified with ISO 9001: 2000 certifications.

Campus:

The campus of the KCCEIT is located at Karyam Road, Nawanshahr district of Punjab. The college campus is well equipped with all major facilities and is well connected to major cities by fast and frequent transport facility available round the clock.

Programmes:

The college is offering six courses in the graduate engineering discipline and one part time postgraduate course in engineering, The college has already applied for three postgraduate full time engineering courses. The courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU.

Facilities:

The KCCEIT is offering facilities like well equipped labs and workshops, spacious and ventilated classrooms, well stocked library, computer centre with internet facility and well equipped hardware and software. The other facilities provided by the college includes transportation and sports facility, ATM and Banking facility, canteen and mess facility, separate hostel facility for boys and girls.

Placement:

The college has fully featured Training and Placement whose job is to assist and assure all-round and holistic development of the students. The T&P cell coordinates and manages all the training and placement related activities. The cell also conducts personality development classes to make them smart, trained and ready for employment in the current industry scenario.
