Admission Procedure
Students seeking for admission in MBBS & BDS programmes, will get admission on the basis of NEET examination. No state level or university level exam is conducted for providing admissions in medical & dental courses.

NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) is a national level medical examination regulated by the CBSE Board. This examination was organized on 7th May 2017. This examination provides an opportunity for students to get admission in MBBS and BDS programmes.

MBBS Admission 2017
Students can apply for NEET 2017 exam through online mode only. The NEET application form 2017 was available from 31st January 2017. The application can be submitted till the 1st March 2017. There is approx 820 seats are available for admission in MBBS course and approx 1090 seats for BDS courses.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Indian and OCI citizens are eligible to apply.
- Students should have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with PCB and English subjects.
- The minimum age limit is 17 years as or on 31st December of the year of admission.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Candidates applying under 15% all India quota are required to appear for the counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS. Counselling for other than 15% quota will be organized by their respective authority. In counselling process, candidates will fill the choices of colleges where they are seeking for admissions. Seats will be allotted as per the rank, filled choices and seats availability. After seat allotment, students are required to appear in the allotted college to complete admission process.

Documents required at the time of counselling/admission is listed below:
- 10th class mark sheet & passing certificate.
- 12th class mark sheet & passing certificate.
- NEET 2017 rank card & admit card.
- Passport size photographs.
- Category certificate (if applicable).
- Domicile certificate (for state quota).
- Birth certificate.

yes, but there are certain conditions that one has to fulfill, like if you’re a central govt employee posted their for a period of time etc.
