Admission Procedure
Students can apply for admission in law courses through entrance examinations. Some reputed universities conduct their own entrance test for providing admissions into UG, PG and other law courses after 12th. Admissions may also be done on the basis of merit list.

Entrance Exam
There is not any state level examination is organized in Delhi for admission in law courses. AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is a national level examination organized by National Law University for providing admissions in UG and PG law courses. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University organizes their own entrance test IPU CET for providing admission in law courses. Most of the universities consider their own entrance exam or provide admission on merit basis.

Law Admission 2017
Candidates can get the application form of AILET 2017 from 3rd January 2017. The application form will be filled and submitted through online process only. The authority will conduct the exam on 7th May 2017.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For integrated UG courses, students must have cleared the 12th or equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate.
- For UG (LL.B) programme, candidates should have a bachelors degree from any recognized college.
- For PG courses (LL.M), students must have a LL.B or equivalent degree from any recognized institution or college.
- Students looking for admission in PG courses, should have scored minimum 55% marks for general and 50% marks for reserved categories.
- Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Candidates are required to appear for the entrance test for admissions or they can also apply on the merit basis. Successful candidates will be invited for counselling procedure. Counselling procedure will be organized by the respective authorities. Candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of filled choices and seats availability. After seat allotment, candidates are required to report to the college to complete admission process.

Candidates will be required these documents at the time of counselling/admission:
- 10th and 12th class mark sheet.
- 10th and 12th class passing certificate.
- Admit card & rank card of the entrance examination.
- Category certificate (if applicable).
- Passport size photographs.
