Delhi Engineering College (DEC) has been established by the Shri Tilak Raj Dhawan Educational and Charitable Trust in the year 2009 as a private and self-financed institution. The DEC is affiliated to the MD University, Rohtak. The DEC is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution approved by the MHRD, AICTE and the DTE, State Government of Haryana.
Campus:
The DEC is sited on the Ballabgarh – Sohna Road (Via Sarmathla) in Village Lidiyapur and Tehsil Ballabgarh in Faridabad, the district of Haryana. The DEC is spread over in 10 acres land. The DEC campus is 50 min road distance away from the IGI Airport, New Delhi, 45 km from Gurgaon and 35 km from Badarpur Border, Delhi.

In terms of Infrastructure, the DEC has a library, classrooms, computer zone, laboratories, workshop, communication lab, separate hostel, canteen and sports ground. The DEC is providing the internet, power back-up, stationery shop, water cooler, dispensary, cafeteria, STD/ISD, Photostat and sports facility.
Activities:
The DEC organizes the various programmes like sports day, literary event, technical society, guest lectures, workshop, industrial visits and the annual cultural festival named “ALTEZZE”, where students and faculty can show their talent.
Placement:
