Dr. Ambedkar College of Law, Mumbai

Dr. Ambedkar College of Law was started in the year of 1977 by the People’s Education Society. This college was started with the approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi and affiliated to the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.

Campus

The college is located at Tilak Road Extension, Wadala, Mumbai. Mumbai is the capital city of the state of Maharashtra. The campus is well-connected through the all modes of transportation. The college is situated just opposite to the Wadala BEST Depot.

Facilities

This college has a spacious library with reading hall equipped with a good collection of classical and modern books, periodicals, cases, reports, etc. it also has subscribed to various national and international journals, magazines, etc. This college houses badminton court, volley ball court, two table tennis hall, four board rooms, etc to provide indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with teaching equipment. It also offers transport facility, student’s common room, medical facility, etc.

Programmes

Dr. Ambedkar College of Law offers admission to undergraduate law course LL.B (Bachelor of Laws). It also offers PG Diploma in Taxation Law and PG Diploma in Labour Law & Labour Welfare. Admission

For admission in three-year law programme, students should hold a bachelor’s degree from any recognized universities or college. Students must have obtained minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination. The admissions will be done according to the university rules and regulations.
