Dayanand College of Law, Latur
Dayanand College of Law, Latur was established in the year 1971 and is running under the aegis of Dayanand Education Society. The college imparts professional legal education to the students who want to make their career in the field of law. The college has the permanent affiliation from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and approval from Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.
Campus
The sprawling campus of the college is located in 22 acres land of Dayanand Education Society. There is a separate building for the law college. It is located in Barshi Road, Latur city in the Marathwada region of the Maharashtra state. The college is situated 1500 meters from M.S.R.T.C. Bus Station.
Facilities
Apart from providing excellent academic facilities, the college also offers best infrastructural facilities. The library of the college is highly ventilated and has a good collection of books. The classrooms of the college are open and large providing a comfortable atmosphere for learning and growth. The college maintains a good hostel facility for students. It has a well-furnished canteen that provides hygienic food to students and staff members. Moreover, the college has spacious auditorium for conducting seminars, pre-placement talks etc. The college also provides sports facilities for the holistic development of the students.
Programmes
Dayanand College of Law, Latur offers five years LL.B programme (BSL+LL.B.). Under this programme, two degrees are offered, one is Bachelor of Social Laws (BSL)Degree offered after the successful completion of the first three years and second is the LL.B. degree offered after the successful completion of fifth year. Admission
Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the Common entrance test [MAH-LL.B 3 year CET] and [MAH-LL.B 3 year CET] for providing admission to its undergraduate law courses. Admission to the LL.M programme will be done on merit basis of the qualifying examination. Students are admitted to the Ph.D programme either through National Eligibility Test of UGC or State Eligibility Test or PET examination of SRTMU Nanded.
