KVPY (Inspire SHE) 2024 Eligibility checks whether the age criteria, qualification, etc. fulfils the criterion for obtaining the scholarship. SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) is a flagship course of DST whose objective is to attract candidates to study basic and natural science subjects at UG & PG levels.

This programme was started by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India in the year of 1999. Previously, KVPY was conducted to provide fellowship and contingency grant to the pre-Ph.D. level for the selected students. Now it has been scrapped. Here, we are providing the detailed information about KVPY (Inspire SHE) Eligibility Criteria 2024.

Inspire SHE (KVPY) Eligibility 2024

Candidates will be able to register for the scholarship if they meet the given eligibility criteria. Before filling Inspire 2024 Application Form, candidates must meet the given eligibility criteria.

Age Limit:

• Candidate age should be between 17 years to 22 years.

Qualification:

• The top 1% meritorious candidates of 12^th class of any state or central education board are eligible to apply. In addition, students must be pursuing courses in Natural & Basic sciences at B.Sc, B.S and Int. M.Sc/ M.S level OR
• Students with top 1% aggregate marks in 12^th class of any state or central education board & pursuing Int. M. S courses in Natural & Basic sciences at IISERs, NISER and Department of Atomic Entergy Centre for Basic Sciences- University of Mumbai and Visva Bharti, Shanti Niketan are also eligible OR
• Candidates who have been selected under Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and pursuing Bachelor/ Master level courses in Natural Sciences OR
• Candidates who have secured JEE or NEET rank (within top 1000 ranks) and are presently pursuing courses in Natural & Basic sciences at B.Sc, B.S and Int. M.Sc/ M.S level OR
• National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) scholars, Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholars and International Olympiad medallist pursuing Bachelor/ Master level courses in Natural Science are also eligible.

Inspire SHE (KVPY) 2024 Application Form

Candidates must check details about Inspire SHE (KVPY) 2024 application form from below:

• Application form will be released in September 2024.
• Candidates will be able to fill their application form through online mode.
• Candidates must fill details carefully in the application form including education, personal, communication etc.
• Upload required documents i.e. photo, signature and other documents in the prescribed format.
• Candidates will be able to fill their application form till November 2024.
• Take printout of the filled application form and keep it safe for other procedures.

Application fee will be paid through online mode only using debit card/ credit card or net banking. Any other mode is not be entertained. Application fee is Rs. 1250/- for general category and for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidate fee will be Rs. 625/-.
