Jorhat Law College, Jorhat
Jorhat Law College was founded in the year of 1964 by Late Nalini Nath Phukan Memorial and Educational Trust. This college has an approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi and affiliated to Dibrugarh University. This college was previously affiliated with Gauhati University.
Campus
The college has a sprawling campus situated in M.G. Road, Jorhat district of the state of Assam. Jorhat district is majorly connected with all the main cities of Assam state. This college is located between the Jorhat College and Railway Crossing.
Facilities
This college has a spacious library equipped with a vast collection of books in law, social science and other reference books. The library has also subscribed to various journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. all the classrooms are spacious and fully equipped with audio-video teaching equipments. It houses a well-equipped moot court hall to organize moot court competition and other related activities. Other facilities are health club, indoor and outdoor sports facility, girl’s common room, legal aid clinic, transport facility, etc.

Admission
Admission in three-year LL.B course will be done on the basis merit list prepared as per the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Students are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) organized by the university for admission in BA. LL.B programme.
