Chanakya National Law University, Patna
Chanakya National Law University was started in the year of 2006 under the Chanakya National Law University Act, 2006 (Bihar Act No. 24 of 2006). It is a public university and approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). This university is accredited with “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
Campus
This university is located at Nyaya Nagar, Mithapur, Patna. Patna is the capital city of the state of Bihar. The campus has been constructed over 18 acres of land. The campus is situated just nearby to the Mithapur Bus Stand.
Facilities
This university provides residential facilities separately for boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with all the modern amenities such as wireless internet access, common rooms, biometric attendance system, mess, gymnasium, etc. The library is air-conditioned and spacious and stocked with online databases, journals, books, thesis, reports, etc. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with audio-video teaching aids for presentation, lectures, etc. It also offers banking facility, medical facility, hygienically maintained cafeteria, IT centre, moot court hall, transportation facility, etc.

Chanakya National Law University offers many UG and Research programmes in the field of law. The intake capacity of all undergraduate law programmes is 140 seats. Admission
Admission into all undergraduate courses will be done strictly on the basis of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For admission in Ph.D programmes, candidates are required to appear for the Ph.D Entrance Test organized by the university. UGC NET and JRF qualified candidates are exempted from Entrance test.
