Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali is the prestigious law institution came into existence in the year 2003. The institution is run under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). It has the accreditation of grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). AIL is affiliated to the Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
Campus
The institution has its campus in Sector 68, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mohali. It has a eco-friendly campus that provides the conducive atmosphere for learning. The campus is fully accessible with all modes of transportation.
Facilities
The institution has a residential facilities for out-station candidates. It has separate hostels for both girls and boys. The fully equipped moot court enables the students to propose themselves as an actual lawyer in an actual court room. Library is facilitated with the rich stock of journals, reporters, research papers, etc. The computer lab has latest configured systems with internet facility and projectors are also available to facilitate e-learning. It has an air-conditioned hall, conference hall for faculty and staff meetings, interviews for recruitment, guest rooms and video conference room.
Programmes
AIL, Mohali runs integrated and postgraduate law courses. It offers 5-years legal education in B.A. LL.B and runs 2-years duration of LL.M. The institution provides the facility of campus recruitment. Every year many reputed law firms, lawyers and NGOs visit the campus for the recruitment of students. Admission
Students are admitted to the B.A. LL.B courses through the Army Institute of Law Entrance Test conducted by AIL, Mohali. Civilian students of Punjab are admitted on the basis of 10+2 marks. Candidates who are meeting the eligibility conditions can appear the entrance test of AIL for admission.
