Sri Siddhartha Medical College was stared in the year 1988 and is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum. The institution imparts academic education and career in the medical field. The institution is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).

Campus

The institution campus is spread in an area of 220 acres of land. The campus is located in outskirts of Tumkur city. It is just 76 Km from Bangalore city and is connected by road and railway.

Facilities

Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution such as separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The institution has a library which has a gathering of books, journals and project reports. The institution has air-conditioned lecture theatres equipped with the facility of modern communication system to facilitate learning-teaching process. Programmes

Various undergraduate and postgraduate courses are offered by the institution. The institution offer undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and postgraduate course in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS). The MBBS programme is having the duration of five and a half years along with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year while the duration of the MD and MS courses are three years.
