Vinayaka Missions University was established in the year 1981. It is a deemed university which imparts education,training and research in the medical field. The university is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission) and courses approved by Dental Council of India (DCI). Vinayaka Mission’s College of Pharmacy, Salem runs under this university and it is approved by the AICTE and PCI (Pharmacy Council of India).
Campus
The university is located in Chennai. The campus has separate academic and student block and provides a perfect ambience for the growth and education of the students.
Facilities
The university provides various necessary facilities to the students such as it has a well-facilitated computer centre. The university has a library which is equipped with journals, periodicals, magazines and project reports. The university provides separate accommodation facility for boys and girls along with the mess facility. It has air-conditioned lecture theatres equipped with the facility of OHP,LCD and projector to facilitate learning-teaching process. The university has an amphitheatre for various cultural events.
