West Bengal University of Health Science offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the medical field. The university offers undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme and Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme. The duration of the courses are four and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The institution also offers postgraduate courses in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programme.
