The Oxford Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre was established in the year 2013. The institution imparts academic education only in the medical field. The institution is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

Campus

The college is situated along the information technology and industrial corridor in National Highway (NH. 7), 25 km from the centre of Bangalore towards Hosur. The campus has separate teaching hospital and academic block and is spread in an area of 35 acres of land.

Facilities

Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution such as library which has a collection of books, journals, periodicals and reports. The institution has lecture halls which are equipped with OHP, LCD and microphone. The institution provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. It has an auditorium, cafeteria and also provide various other recreational facilities to the students such as gymnasium, sports facility etc.

Programme

The Oxford Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre offers undergraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. The students those want to make their career in the medical field need to study Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in their class XII. The duration of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme is four and a half years with the compulsory rotational internship training of one year. The candidates pursuing MBBS course has to do the clinical training in the hospitals attached to the institute.
