Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune
Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth was established under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, in the year of 2003. It is a deemed university which is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). It is an ISO 9001 : 2008 Certified University and it is re-accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with “A” grade. This college has two constituent colleges; Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre and Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital.
Campus
This university has a sprawling campus located at Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune. Pune city is the district of the Maharashtra state. The nearest airport is Pune Airport which is just 17 km away from the campus and nearest bus stand is Shivaji Nager Bus Depot which is 12.8 km away from the campus.
Facilities
This university houses various hostels to provide hostel facilities for boys and girls. Each hostel is fully furnished and equipped with all the modern amenities. The classrooms are spacious and fully furnished and equipped with audio-video teaching aids.
