SGT Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gurgaon
SGT Institute of Engineering & Technology (SGTIET) was established in the year 2010 by Guru Govind Singh Trust under self-financing scheme. The SGTIET is a private institution. It is affiliated to the MD University, Rohtak. The institution is approved by the AICTE, MHRD, DTE and State Government of Haryana.
Campus:
The SGT campus is situated on the Gurgaon – Badali Road near Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary in Village Budhera in district Gurgaon of Haryana State. The SGT campus is spread over in 60 acres of developed land. The campus is well-connected by rail, air and road network. The campus is located on the outskirts of Gurgaon City and 15 km away from the IGI Airport, New Delhi.
Programmes:
The SGTIET is conducting the five B.Tech programmes and three M.Tech programmes in the field of engineering and technology.
Students:
The campus offers 480 annual intake seats for admission in all programmes of engineering.
Facilities:
The SGTIET has a police post inside the campus with good security. The campus provides the separate hostel for boys and girls. The wi-fi network connectivity is through the entire campus. The SGTIET provides the labs, library, canteen, cafeteria and mess facility inside the campus.
Activities:
The campus conducts the workshops and seminar on various topics. The SGT campus celebrates the fresher’s party, student’s day party and the Diwali festival named “Glitterazia”.
Placement:
The Corporate Resources Cell of the SGTIET arranges the industry visits, corporate linkages and summer training for the students. The CRC invites the industries for campus recruitment and provides the best job placement to the students.
