Sukhmani Dental College and Hospital, Mohali

Sukhmani Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 2012. The institution is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and approved by Dental Council of India (DCI). The institution imparts education, research and training in the medical field.

Campus

The college is situated in Dera Bassi on Chandigarh – Delhi Highway in Mohali district. The campus is spread in an area of 64 acres of land. The institution campus offers a serene environment which is pleasant for learning and growth. The campus of the institution is well-established with all the modern facilities with separate academic blocks and student’s blocks.

Facilities

Various necessary facilities are provided by the institution such as a full–fledged library for dental, medical books and periodicals are available to the students for reference. The library holds an extensive range of monograph titles, large number of periodicals, audio-visual collections and provides many electronic data base on CD-ROM titles. The college has a computer centre with internet access, which provides computing resources for the students and staff. The institution has an auditorium for various cultural events. It has a conference hall, seminar hall. The institution provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls along with the mess facility. Besides these various other recreational facilities are also provided like sports facility, transportation facility, cafeteria etc.

Sukhmani Dental College and Hospital offers undergraduate programme in the medical field. The institution offers degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme. The duration of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme is four years with the compulsory internship of one year.
