Chintpurni Medical College & Hospital, Pathankot

Chintpurni Medical College & Hospital (CMCH) is the pre-eminent medical institution established in 2012 and located at Pathankot. It is affiliated to the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and the courses approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Apart from providing excellent health care facilities, the aim of the institution is to prepare doctors that are well-versed in basic medical sciences and are sensitive to treat their patients with a human touch.

Campus

The picturesque campus of CMCH is located at the foothills of Dhauladhar Mountains. The college is situated on Dalhousie Road, Pathankot that is 10 km from Dalhousie. The campus is well-networked with all the modes of communication. The college campus is stretched over 25 acres of land and has a scenic beauty. It has a teaching hospital that has a six-story building located on the Dalhousie road, Bungal, Punjab.

Facilities

The college is well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. The facilities include a fully air-conditioned lecture hall that has audio-visual facilities and equipped with projectors, air-conditioned library with illuminated reading halls, computers and internet facility in library. There are a large stock of medical books and journals in the library. It also houses fitness centre, sports facility, cafeteria, laboratories of all department equipped with latest equipments, nutrition lab, etc.

Programmes

The institution is running MBBS course in its institution. It provides the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree to the eligible candidates. It is a 4.5 years course plus one year mandatory internship. The admission is done as per the guidelines of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
