Punjab Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Amritsar is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and was established in the year 1952 to provide better dental health care services as well as to impart modern teaching and training to the students. Programmes
Punjab Govt. Dental College & Hospital provides undergraduate and postgraduate course in the medical field. The institution offers undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and postgraduate programme in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme. The duration of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is having the duration of five years including a one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The duration of the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme is three years.
