Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut
Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College (LLRMC), Meerut is a state-run medical college that was formed on 13th September 1963. The college was laid by Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta ji (then Hon’ble Chief Minister of U P). The LLRMC is affiliated to the Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), formerly the Meerut University. It is approved by the Medical Council of India. The college is associated with the SVBP Hospital.
Campus
The college is situated in Jai Bhim Nagar, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The college has a separate academic block, administrative block and pre-clinical departments. The campus is spread over an area of 150.49 acres. The nearest railway station is Meerut Railway Station located 9.7 km away from the college.
Facilities
The LLRMC has a well-established classroom with the facility of audio-visual aids. The college offers the facilities such as medical, sports, auditorium, laboratory, cafeteria, conference hall and seminar hall. The college also has separate hostels for Girls and Boys. The library of the colleges is well-stocked with the rich gathering of journals, periodicals, books, reports, magazines and newspapers. There is a lecture theatre that has a seating capacity of 150 students and fully equipped with latest equipments.
