SNS College of Engineering, Coimbatore

The SNS College of Engineering (SNSCE), Coimbatore was founded in the year of 2007. The SNSCE is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and got an approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Campus

The college is located in SNS Kalvi Nagar, Kurumbapalayam, Coimbatore. The campus has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with the departments of management, engineering and technology. The college has a separate academic and students blocks.

Facilities

The SNSCE offers different facilities like as laboratories, a well-equipped seminar hall, computer Lab, Recreation and Fitness Center and Workshops. There is a Wi-Fi enabled SMART classroom that support e-Learning with the facility of LCD Projectors and audio-visual equipments. The college has a digital library with a seating capacity of 150 people. The library houses with the 22,228 books, 121 journals, more than 1345 educational CDs, magazines, printed and electronic journals, audio video cassettes, project reports and Newspapers. There is also a medical, transport, auditorium, Indoor and Outdoor sports, gym and conference hall.

Programmes

The SNS College of Engineering provides a post graduate programme in the field of Management. The management programme is Master of Business Administration (MBA). It is a two year programme that comprises of four semesters.

Placement

The Training and Placement cell of the SNSCE play an important role between the industry and the students. It acts as an interface between them. The Placement cell provides continuous assistance and guidance to the students by inviting the professional legends from academic to share their knowledge and experience. The T & P cell also conducts different activities for the student skill development. The main recruiters are ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, LAKSHMI VILAS BANK, INDUSIND BANK, TATA Consultancy Services, Infosys, SUTHERLAND GLOBAL and etc.
