Dravidian University, Kuppam

The Dravidian University was formed in the year of 1997 through a Legislature Act of Andhra Pradesh. The University is an Inter-State Institution. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University began functioning with two departments in the year of 1999. It is one of the most ideally suited university for quite and dedicated studies and research.

Campus

The University is situated in a peaceful rural setting with pleasant greenery spread over the spacious campus of about 1000 acres of land. The campus is completely pollution free. The University is located at the tri- lingual junction, Kuppamin Chittoor District, A. P. The campus presents an image of combination tradition and modernity harmoniously.

Facilities

The University has a central library with lots of collection of journals, newspaper, magazines, and books. The library supports the education, research and extension programmes of the institution. There is a computer centre that provides a central computing facility with Network Servers for all the staff and students of the University. There is also a SC/ST cell, Language Laboratory, Student Counseling Centre, Canteen, and Post-office, Bank, Shopping Complex, Multipurpose Gym, Indira Gandhi Stadium and Transport facility. The University has a separate hostel for men and women on the Campus.

Programmes

The Dravidian University only offers Master of Business Administration (MBA). The duration of this course is two years that is consist of four semesters.
