North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Arunachal Pradesh

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) was established in the year 1984. It is a deemed university, an autonomous body controlled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, Government of India.

Campus

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology is located at Nirjuli Arunachal Pradesh. The campus of the institute is spread over 500 acres of land.

Facilities

The college provides in campus hostel facility for both boys and girls. The institute is fully residential. There are eight hostel blocks with a capacity of 1500 borders. The campus has faculty and staff quarters, guest house, temple, church, bank, auditorium, library and NERIST health unit.

Programmes

The institute provides engineering and other courses in the following fields like chemistry, forestry, mathematics, physics, center for management studies and humanities and social science. The engineering courses are provided in the following streams:

Electronics and Communication Engineering
Electrical Engineering

Placement

The institute has training and placement cell which provides placement to the students. The placement is provided in the following companies HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Vodaphone, Reliance Power ltd etc.
