National Institute of Technology (NIT), Arunachal Pradesh is one of the NITs established in the year 2010. The institute has been awarded as the status of Institute of National Importance. Among the 30th NITs, NIT Arunachal Pradesh has been ranked 19th. The temporary campus of the institute is situated in Yupia that is the headquarters of Papum Pare district of AP. The mission of the NIT Arunachal Pradesh is to produce the technical engineers that meet all the requirements of corporate industry and create new technologies for future advancement.

Campus

The campus of NIT Arunachal Pradesh is located in Yupia, Arunachal Pradesh. Yupia is 18 kms away from the Itanagar, the capital city of AP. The railway station that is nearest to the campus is Naharlagun, only 2 kms away from the campus.

Facilities

The campus provides all the basic and advanced facilities to the students that includes safe drinking water, fooding facility, highly ventilated classrooms, fully facilitated seminar hall and conference room for meetings. The campus houses 4 boys’ hostels and 2 girl’s hostels within the college premises with central mess where the hygienic and delicious meals are served to the students. Hostels are fully managed by the wardens along with proper security arrangements.
