Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal popularly known as IISER- B is an autonomous research and education institute situated in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). The college was established in the year 2008 by MHRD, government of India with the objective of providing quality education and research in the field of basic sciences. The college is granted with the status of Autonomous institute awarding its own degrees.
Campus:
IISER,Bhopal is located in Bhopal district of Madhya Pradesh. The college campus is spread in an area of 200 acres having academic block, residential block, auditorium, and sports complex for students. The college campus has all major facilities and at a few minutes distance from railway station and bus stop of Bhopal.

IISER,Bhopal has state of the art infrastructure with all major facilities. The college campus includes lecture hall with e learning facility, well equipped labs and workshops, computer centre with high speed internet connectivity, central library with good volumes of books and journals and digital library facility, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports facility etc.
