Dr. Rizvi College of Engineering, Kaushambi

Dr. Rizvi College of Engineering was established as a college of art, science and commerce in the year 1985. The college is a private and self-financed institution set up by the Dr. Akhtar Rizvi Educational Trust. The college is affiliated to the UP Technical University, Lucknow. The college is approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The programmes are approved by the UP Board of Technical Education and the State Government of UP.

Campus:

The 30 acres vast campus is situated in the Dr. Rizvi Educational Campus on the Allahabad – Saini Road at Karari in Kaushambi, the district of UP. The campus is 45 km away from the Allahabad Railway Station.

Programmes:

The college is offering the B.Tech degree programmes in five disciplines of engineering and technology and an MBA programme in various streams of management study.

Students:

There are 360 seats offering for admission as an intake capacity of the students in all programmes. 85% seats are filled through the UPSEE exam and 15% seats are filled by the institute at its own level.

Facilities:

The college provides the campus provides separated hostel for boys and girls, mess, cafeteria, labs, library, computer labs, conference hall, health care facility, sports ground, gymnasium, ATM, Wi-Fi, and transport facility. The college also offers the scholarship to the meritorious students.

Activities

The college conducts the cultural activities, workshops and seminars as extracurricular activities.

Placement

The college has a training and placement cell. The cell provides the job to more than 40% of the students every year. The cell also provides the industrial trainings and internships.
