The Jayamatha Engineering College (JEC) is established in 1995. The college is accepted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is associated to the Anna University. The college code is 9609. The fundamental mission behind the college is to make Engineering Education inexpensive for all, and to set up the more youthful generation of today for the specialized world of tomorrow. In this manner, the college is adding the teaching education to the Technological advancement of our Nation.

Campus

The Campus of JEC is positioned on the national highway at a space of 60 kms from Tirunelveli and 17 kms from Nagercoil. The campus is placed at a picturesque location. The JEC is well connected by rail, air and road facility. There is a gigantic green garden with a peaceful environment which helps the students to focus on their studies.

Facilities

The JEC provides separate hostels for both boys and girls. The Hostel has been built with the high aim of providing relaxed and secure accommodation. The college has outstanding library housing with 24542 volumes of books and 5684 titles. There is a separate transport bus with all the facility. The college also gives computing facilities, communication facilities, extracurricular activities and co-curricular activities.

The JEC Placement cell composes delicate ability programmes to enhance self-regard & the Confidence level of the students. The T & P Cell also organizes the presentation & Communication skills classes for the student.
