Anand College of Engineering and Management, Kapurthala
Anand College of Engineering and Management, (ACEM) Kapurthala is an engineering colleges located in the Kapurthala district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 2010. The college is financed and managed by the Anand Educational Trust which was established in the year 1989. The ACEM college was established with the aim of providing affordable and quality based education to the students with best infrastructural facilities. The ACEM is affiliated to Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.
Campus:
The ACEM is situated at Sultanpur Road in Kapurthala district. The college has good infrastructure comprising of all major facilities. The college is located at a distance of 5 km from kapurthala railway station and 6 km from the bus station.
Programmes:
The college is offering four courses in undergraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of B.tech. The college is also offering two courses in engineering diploma. The courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar.
Facilities:
The college provides facilities like spacious and ventilated classrooms, fully featured labs and workshops, seminar hall, computer centre equipped with latest hardware and software, separate transportation facility for boys and girls, the College has well stocked library having 6000+ books of science, engineering and technology and 50 national and international journals. The other facility provided by the college includes mess, canteen, sports , medical and transportation.
Placement:
The ACEM has a fully fledged Training and Placement cell. The T&P cell is responsible for managing and coordinating various training and placement related activities. The T&P cell of the college also helps the students to make them industrial ready professional by improving their communication skills, soft skills, personality development, technical skills. The major recruiter of the college includes Autodesk, jetking, Wipro, Netmax, TCS etc.
Activities:
The students of ACEM are engaged in all sorts of activities that are organized throughout the year by the college. These activities include sports event, cultural and technical events, Tech Fest etc.
