The Asansol Engineering College normally known as AEC is a private institute which is established in the year 1998. The University is approved by AICTE. The University has been positioned inside of the main 10 engineering colleges in West Bengal. Asansol Engineering College is a combined scheme of the JIS group and the Techno India group.

Campus

The University is located in Asansol which is near to West Bengal-Jharkhand border and is about 200 Kms far from the super city Kolkata. The University is running a wide land region, approx 17 acres. The campus is a gathering of buildings that comprises a main academic block, departmental library, mechanical workshop, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The campus is home to more than 2,000 people: students, teachers, and non educational staff.
