Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata is also stands for HIT, Kolkata. The HIT, Kolkata is established in 2001by Kalyan Bharti Trust (KBT). The HIT, Kolkata is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). It is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

Campus

Heritage Institute of Technology is located at Anandapur in the south-eastern part of Kolkata. The HIT campus is situated on Chowbaga Road, behind the landmark of Ruby General Hospital. It is 10-minute drive away from East Metropolitan Bypass.

Facilities

The HIT has so many facilities for students that includes central computing facilities, sports / games, classrooms equipped with LCD Projectors, banking, health care, fire fighting system, electric substation & generator, Transportation, Cafeteria, Common rooms (separately for boys and girls) and also provides internet connectivity in the campus area.
