Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT), Haldia
Haldia Institute of Technology is also known as the HIT. It is the private, initiated engineering institute in West Bengal, India. HIT has begun its journey in the year of 1996.HIT is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). It is the first private academic institution serving technical education in West Bengal.
Campus
Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) is located in Haldia – an industrial hub in Eastern India. The institute has a cooperative campus of 49 acres of land having an organizational block of 2787 square metres with nine educational blocks having an area of about 24980 square metres and a boarding house region of 24315 square metres.
Facilities
The hostel facility is available for both girls and boys to accommodate about all the students. The Facilities comprise a facility area of 1830 square metres a library, laundry facility, Post Office, bank with ATM, medical stores, facilities and restaurants.
Programmes
Haldia Institute of Technology, west Bengal is providing various programs in Undergraduate level and Postgraduate. At Undergraduate level the institute offered a four-year engineering program in following disciplines:
