National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Durgapur

The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) was established in Durgapur by the Government of India in 1968 under the ministry of power, to make a leading institute for Human Resources Development of Indian Power Sector. The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) is an ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 organization and an autonomous body under Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Campus

The NPTI campus is located in Durgapur and campus is well accessed by roads in the limit of Durgapur city.

Facilities

The NTPI Durgapur is fully equipped with basic facilities like, hostels, conference hall, library, auditorium, as well as hi tech labs like Control & Instrumentation (C&I) labs, Computer labs with high-speed LAN/WAN and Condition Monitoring Cell.

Programs

The NPTI Durgapur conducts various industry interfaced academic programs in the field of management and engineering. In Undergraduate level the institute offers a four-year engineering program in following disciplines:

Placement

There is a placement cell in NTPI Durgapur which plays a vital role in institute to organize the campus recruitment programs for PDC Trainees, PGDC Trainees, & B. Tech Students. The Placement Cell provides the equipment facilities to conduct group tests, discussions, and interviews which make students skilled and ready for corporate industry.
