Government college of Engineering, Karad is a government aided co-ed engineering college located in Satara district of Maharashtra. The college was established in the year 1960 by the government of Maharashtra with the aim and mission of providing technical education to the rural and tribal students of Maharashtra. The college is one of the oldest and highly renowned educational institution for engineering education in the Satara district. The  College  is approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE)  New Delhi and affiliated to Shivaji  University.
