Kothiwal Institute of Technology & Professional Studies, Moradabad

Kothiwal Institute of Technology & Professional Studies (KITPS) was established in the year 2001 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution set up by the Set up by K.C.M. Educational Society, Moradabad. The college is affiliated to the UP technical University, Lucknow. The KITPS is approved by the AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The campus is situated on the Moradabad – Kanth Road (Haridwar Road) in Moradabad, the district of UP. The campus is 17 km away from the Moradabad Railway Station as well as the Moradabad Bus stand. The campus is well-connected by the roads and rail. The campus is spread over an area of 11 acres of land.

Programmes:

The KITPS is offering total 5 academic programmes as 4 year full-time B.Tech/B.E programmes in the field of engineering and technology with an intake capacity of 360 students in all programmes.

Facilities:

The college has a library with the seating capacity of 200 students and more than 6,000 numbers of volumes, computer centre with high-speed internet connectivity, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, well furnished hostel facility for boys and girls separately, medicinal garden, canteen, transport and scholarship.

Placement:

The college formed a training and placement wing which is coordinating with the industries for industrial internship, summer training and final job placement for the students.

Activities:

The college conducts various co-curricular and extracurricular activities like debates, group discussion, quiz and music & dance competition. The college organizes the annual games like cricket, hockey, table tennis and volleyball.
