BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli
BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology (BVBCET) was established in the year 1947 by KLE Society in Gadag. Later in the year 1948 it was shifted to the present location in Hubli. The college is popularly known as the BVB engineering college. It was started imparting the education at a polytechnic level. The college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the AICTE and NBA. Now the college has been upgraded to the government aided autonomous states since year 2007. The campus is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.
Campus
Before gaining the status of engineering college it was owing the status of polytechnic and located in the Gadag in Karnataka. After one year of the inception it moved to the Hubli. The campus is spread over 50 acres of land in a plane landscape. The campus is located on Malmaddi-HUbli Road (State Highway-73) In Vidya Nagar in Hubli, The district of Karnataka.

The campus provides the ambient environment for study with modern amenities and facilities. The campus has spacious classrooms, well-planned laboratories & workshops, wi-fi enabled central computing centre, library, sports area, transportation, gymkhana and hostel facility.
