Kali Charan Nigam Institute of Technology, Banda
Kali Charan Nigam Institute of Technology (KCNIT) was established in the year 2002 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution set up by the Banda Education Centre. The college is affiliated to the UP technical University (GBTU). The KCNIT is approved by the AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi and State Government of UP.
Campus:
The campus is situated on the Naraini Road in Banda (Headquarter of the Chitrakoot Dham Mandal), the district of UP. The campus is well-connected by the roads and rail. The campus is spread over an area of 40 acres of land on the state highway of district Banda.
Programmes:
The KCNIT is offering total 10 academic programmes as 4 year full-time B.Tech programmes in six disciplines and 3 year full-time polytechnic diploma in three disciplines of engineering and technology, and an MBA degree programme in various disciplines of Management.
Students:
The college offers an intake capacity of 660 students for admission in all programmes.
Facilities:
The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled and its own self-contained air-conditioned. The college has a well architectural designed infrastructure. The college has a separated hostel for the boys and girls, well equipped laboratories, library with around 20,000 numbers of volumes and a computer centre with around 550 latest systems.
Placement & Activities
The college has a well-established training & placement cell for providing the support to the students for their career and job placement through counselling, trainings and internships.
