The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore
The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore is one of the premier institution in Bangalore imparting the education in engineering and technology since 1946. It is recognized as the autonomous institution of Visvesvaraya Technological University under the MHRD and is a grant-in-aid, non-minority and co-ed institution by the central and state government. The NIE, Mysore is counted in top 100 engineering institutions of India including the IITs and NITs. The campus is approved by the AICTE and all courses are accredited by the NBA.
Campus
The sprawling campus of National Institute of Engineering is spread in around 18 acres of land on Manandavadi Road in Mysore, the district of Karnataka. The campus is situated in the heart of the city. The campus is 5 Km away from the nearest railway station and 8 km away form the nearest airport.
Facilities
The campus is built in three blocks as Administrative Block, Golden Jubilee Block and Diamond Jubilee Block. The campus has all modern amenities like Medical Centre, and Facility and separate hostel for boys ans girls. The campus has sports complex, library, laboratories, workshop, computer centre and transportation.

National Institute of Engineering offers total 35 courses with the domains as UG, PG and PhD courses in the field of engineering & technology.
