Panchwati Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut

Panchwati Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) was established in the year 2009 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution set up by the Panchwati Education & Social Welfare Trust. The college is affiliated to the UP technical University, Lucknow and approved by the AICTE, MHRD, New Delhi and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The PIET is situated in Ghat Institutional Area on the National Highway-58 (Delhi – Haridwar Bypass) in Meerut, the district of UP. The college is just 6 km away from the Meerut City. The campus is well-connected by the roads and rail.

Students & Faculty:

The PIET offers around 300 seats in all departments. The college has a team of 20 members of the faculty and 23 members as non-technical staff.

Facilities:

The college has well furnished lecture hall and classrooms, well equipped labs & workshops, library with over 5000 volumes of books, separated hostels for the boys and the girls in Meerut City with well-connected transportation facility.

Activities:

The college conducts annual cultural and academic Fest named as “Panchwati Pratibha Programme”. The college also conducts seminars, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Programmes:

The PIET offers 4 year full-time B.Tech degree courses in five disciplines of engineering and technology. The admission is to be done on the basis of UP state entrance examination conducted by the UPTU. The engineering branches are as the following:

Placement:

A well established training and placement cell of the college is continuously providing the job opportunity to the students and making them aware of the present scenario of the employment.
