Neelkanth Institute of Technology, Meerut

Neelkanth Institute of Technology (NIT) was established in the year 2008 as an initiative origin of the Neelkanth Group of Institutions. The college was started as a private and self-financed institution set up by the Shri Shiv Venketeshwara Educational and Social Welfare Trust. The college is affiliated to the UP Technical University, Lucknow and approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The college is also approved by the UP Board of Technical Education and State Government of UP.

Campus:

The NIT is co-located with numbers of institutes providing the professional education in various fields, managing by the Neelkanth Group of Institutions. The campus is situated on the National Highway-58, Near Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Agricultural University at Pawli Khas in Meerut, district of UP. The campus is spread over an area of 65 acres in NCR region.

Programmes:

The NIT is offering total 7 B.Tech and 2 M.Tech degree programmes in the field of engineering & technology and an MBA degree programme. The college also offers the lateral entry direct admission in B.Tech 2^nd year. The college is offering the research programmes in engineering and has established a R&D centre inside the campus.

Students, Faculty & Staff:

The NIT offers admission in all programmes with an intake capacity of more than 520 students. The campus has fully motivated 130 members of the faculty within 68 doctoral degree holders. The college has 26 members as non-technical staff providing the best management of the institution.

Facilities:

The college provides spacious classrooms, seminar hall, labs, library, temple, cafeteria, sports centre, park & lawns, hostels, mess and transportation facility.

Placement:

The college has placed over 163 students out of the pass out students of batch-2013-14. The college has a best placement record. The college provides the internships and summer trainings to the students.

The college conducts various co-curricular and extracurricular activities round the year such as social, academic and cultural events.
