Christ University, Bangalore

Christ University was established in the year 1969 with the name as Christ College which was affiliated to Bangalore University. In the year 2008, college has been declared as the deemed to be university by the UGC. It is a private university and approved by the AICTE. The university is founded and managed by the Priests of CMI (Carmelita of Mary Immaculate). The campus is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment of Accreditation Council). The University regulates courses in the field of management, engineering, law and many more.

Campus

Christ University has been divided into two campuses; one is main campus towards Hosur Road and Second is Kengeri Campus towards the Mysore Road. There is around 25 km distance between both campuses. The main campus is spread in 25 acres of land as the part of 100 acres land of Dharmaram College Campus. It is located in the heart of the Bangalore city and opposite of Bangalore Dairy Flyover. The another campus is spread in 75 acres of land in Kengeri at Bangalore-Mysore Highway (SH-71) in Bangalore state of Karnataka.

As the campus is very popular among the students of Bangalore, it provides the ample facilities and amenities to its students. The campus is offering the 22 PhD, 15 M.Phill, 42 PG and 45 UG courses in various fields like engineering and technology, management, law, applied science, social science, arts, commerce, education, tourism management and media and communication studies. In management it offers BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Financial Management and Executive MBA programme.
