Invertis Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly

Invertis Institute of Engineering & Technology (IIET) is a private and self-financed institution. It was established in the year 2005 under the sponsored of Invertis University (A Private University). The IIET is affiliated to the Invertis University, Bareilly. It is approved by the AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. The IIET is also approved by the UT Board of Technical Education.

Campus:

The campus is well-known as the Invertis University consists of eight colleges providing the education in various fields and IIET is one out of these eight colleges. The campus is situated on the Bareilly–Lucknow Highway (NH-24) at Invertis Village in the district Bareilly (UP). The campus is just 12km away from the Bareilly Railway Station and Roadways Bus Stand equally. The IIET campus has built over an area of 23.5 acres of land.

Programmes:

The IIET is offering the M.Tech programme in three disciplines, B.Tech programme in eight disciplines and diploma courses in six disciplines of engineering and technology.

Students & Faculty:

The IIET has 59 faculty members in all departments of engineering & technology, beside the University has total 119 faculty members in all departments with a gathering of around total 2000 students as the strength of the university in all programmes.

Facilities:

The campus provides the accommodation facility for boys’ hostels (Himalaya, Shiwalik and Himgiri) and girls’ hostels (Kaveri & Godavari), common mess named ‘Annapurna’, cafeteria and fully Wi-Fi internet connectivity as the campus facilities. The campus provides the academic facilities like air-conditioned lecture hall, seminar hall, conference hall, library and laboratories. The campus provides other facilities like PCO, ATM, transport, scholarship and loan facility to the meritorious and needy students.

Placement:

The campus has a central corporate resource centre (CRC) headed by the experienced professionals. The CRC provides the internship placement and final-job placement to the students. The placement record is satisfactory with the highest salary offered as 6.50 per annum.

The campus organizes the co-curricular & extracurricular activities like Inspire, Invertia-2013, Quizzomania-2013, and Connexions-Alumni Day.
