University College of Engineering and Technology, Hazaribagh
University College of Engineering and Technology, (UCET) Hazaribagh was established in the year 2009. The college is situated in Hazaribag district of Jharkhand. The UCET is the first college in the Jharkhand state which is directly managed and maintained by Vinoba Bhave University. The college has its own campus in the VBU University, having its own laboratories, workshops and classrooms. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag.
Campus:
The college is located at Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag, (Jharkhand). The college has its own land within the VBU university campus. The college campus comprises of well built infrastructure, having its own laboratories, computer facilities and workshops. The college is situated 4.7 km from the new bus stand and 44 km from the Barkakhana Railway Station.
Facilities:
The major facilities provided by UCET includes well equipped labs and workshops, central library with more than 10000 books and a subscription to leading journals to cater the needs of UG and PG students. The college has a separate building for workshop to provide a remarkable practical knowledge to the engineering students. The college has a well established computer centre equipped with latest configured systems and internet connectivity. The other facilities provided by UCET include seminar hall, bank and ATM, canteen facility etc.
Programmes:
The college is offering four courses in the graduate engineering disciplines with the total intake capacity of 60 students per branch. The courses offered by the UCET are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag. The college is offering courses in the following discipline:

Placement:
The college has a separate Training and Placement cell which is equipped with conference rooms and separate, well-furnished rooms for interviews and counselling. The T&P cell of UCET facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institute. The cell also collaborates with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program for the students. The college provides full support to the students as far as all corporate interactions and placements are concerned.
